Celebrating the arrival of Baby Charlie

I had been lucky enough to photograph this little family of three several times and it was always a pure delight. So when they approached me to do their pregnancy and newborn photo shoots with one of my Bump+Bundle packages I was over the moon! I could only imagine how gorgeous it would be! When the time came for our ‘Bump’ maternity photo shoot it sure didn’t disappoint. Knowing my clients well I was able to suggest a stunning beach location and we had the most incredible weather. Our ‘Golden Hour’ photo shoot wasn’t so much golden but full of pink hues which just added a natural dreaminess and intimacy to the moments and images we created. As the family played barefoot in the sand dunes and finished their shoot with a dip in the water I just beamed wide behind the lens and worked it to keep up! I knew in the moment the photos were going to be something special and they were.

After Baby Charlie’s arrival into the world he was a little unsettled and not ready for his close up at our ‘Bundle’ newborn photo shoot so the decision was made to wait. At 4 months old the time was right and whilst my clients could have been worried about missing those early newborn days in photos it didn’t even cross their minds as what we were able to create at our shoot was just divine. Still so little but so interactive, full of smiles and adored by his big sister and mum and dad, we had an absolute ball and created authentic, effortless images. There was a natural flow to the photo shoot which shows in the photos as we let Charlie take the lead. At home and in love – Charlie at 4 months was such a memorable shoot.
